I Just Got That Feeling!

It’s been around seven months since my trip to Zion National Park. The images and memories were long faded. Even my memory of how cool the Zion Canyon episode was faded. I have a long backlog of trips and episodes ready for you to see. I just watched it again and got that feeling. That feeling that I captured it! I captured the place, the feeling, and the beauty. It fills me with pride when that happens. When the music, video, the voiceover, and the quote at the end all work together to put you in the place, like you were there, the episode is a success. I hope you feel it also.

My only wish is that everyone could see it. I’m sure we would have more respect for nature in this world if people could slow down for four minutes forty-three seconds and really pay attention. Not just to Beautiful Places, but to anything with more meaning and feeling than the latest YouTube fight or political battle. We are what we spend our time doing. Spend some time in silence and in the presence of beauty.

Please send links to your friends and family, your co-workers, your boss, anyone. Tell them it’s time to take a five minute break, relax, and soak up the beauty of Zion Canyon. The next episode is a hike up The Zion Narrows, where Zion Canyon narrows down into a slot canyon as narrow as twenty feet across in some places with cliff walls on either side reaching thousand of feet high! The entire hike is done in the Virgin River that cut the canyon. It’s breathtaking!
